I've been collecting postcards on and off since I was a kid - exchanging them while trading zines, buying them everytime I'm on vacation, and getting them from family members who went overseas. In January 2007 I discovered Swap-Bot, and from then on I started collecting more actively! Since then I also started to swap on Postcrossing and the Postcrossing Forums.

Lagos is an ancient maritime town with more than 2,000 years of history. The name Lagos has a Celtic origin and is derived from the word Lacobriga. Lagos first became a settlement of the Carthaginians, who recruited Celtic tribesmen in their war against the Romans (the Punic Wars). Later it became colonized by the Romans, becoming part of the Roman province Lusitania.
