Prairie Dog (Cynomys Iudovicianus). The Prairie Dog feeds almost entirely on grasses and other plants. It will change its eating habits as the vegetation changes. The prairier dog uses its front paws for eating, similar to the way humans use their hands. It is usually out of its burrow during the daytime and can be seen standing or sitting on a mound of earth.
